Friends of the Library Kit Assembly

Creators Club is a drop-in program for kids ages 0–13, designed to spark creativity through hands-on building, crafting, and play.

You are invited to examine, learn, and think with others. Learn how others view the world. Bring your questions and we will select one or two to discuss as a group. Let's generate community, understanding, and change.

Join Annika, the Youth Services Librarian, to sing, rhyme, read, and dance alongside your little ones. Afterwards, stay for social interaction, sensory exploration and playtime.

Let your creativity go panel-to-panel! In this fun, hands-on program, kids become storytellers and illustrators as they explore all the elements of graphic novels—from plotting and dialogue to layout and character design.

This hands-on art program lets kids explore all kinds of materials and techniques—from painting and sculpture to collage and more! We'll learn about different artists each week and create our own masterpieces along the way.

Take a night off and join us for movie night at the library. We play classics, documentaries, new releases and much more! Treats provided for your enjoyment while you watch on our projection screen.

Join Kat for Preschool Story Time with stories, early literacy activities and games. Ages 3 to 5. Registration required. Story time may be held on the West Lawn, weather permitting.

Do you love chess, want to improve, or just want to learn how to play? Join Kat and Daniel at the library every other Tuesday of the month to play others in friendly games of chess. Boards and pieces are provided by the library.
