Whether you're a seasoned painter or a first-time artist, this event promises fun, creativity, and a chance to show off your favorite literary characters or themes. We'll provide you with a pumpkin canvas to transform into a literary masterpiece, a variety of paints, brushes, markers, and other creative materials to help bring your literary vision to life. All you need to bring is your imagination!
Need some inspiration? Browse through a selection of literary classics and contemporary titles for ideas on how to decorate your pumpkin. Once you've finished your literary pumpkin masterpiece, you can choose to enter it into the library's Literary Pumpkin Contest. Prizes will be awarded to the pumpkin that receives the most votes. Voting for the contest will begin on Thursday, October 19
