Take a night off and join us for movie night at the library. We play classics, documentaries, new releases and much more! Treats provided for your enjoyment while you watch on our projection screen. Note: not all movies shown are appropriate for all audiences nor do they represent the opinions of the Library or its staff. Except for the cat movie, we promote the love of cats.

September 19 -- Cats of Malta (2023, documentary, 58 minutes)

Experience the colorful cats of Malta as you journey through cat colonies, meeting locals and artists who embrace and look after the huge population of stray cats in this Mediterranean Island.

October 17 -- The Terror (1963, classic horror, 79 minutes)

In THE TERROR, the incomparable Jack Nicholson (in one of his earliest leading roles) plays Lt. Duvalier, a soldier in Napoleon's army. After separating from the rest of his unit and becoming lost, he catches sight of Helene, a beautiful woman walking alone along the Baltic Sea.

November 21 -- Between the Rains ( 2023, documentary, 81 minutes)

During a period of record low rainfall in northern Kenya, the Turkana tribe faces growing violent clashes with rival tribes and encroaching wild predators hunting their livestock. Kolei, a sensitive shepherd boy whose name translates to “living amongst the goats”, questions not only his path as a warrior, but also the erosion of the culture that has shaped every aspect of his life.
