You are invited to examine, learn, and think with others. Learn how others view the world. Bring your questions and we will select one or two to discuss as a group. Let's generate community, understanding, and change.

Join Annika, the Youth Services Librarian, to sing, rhyme, read, and dance alongside your little ones. Afterwards, stay for social interaction, sensory exploration and playtime.

Join the Bitterroot Public Library at Westslope Distillery for trivia night. Bring a team or drop in on your own. Participants compete  by answering a challenging range of questions about most anything.

Join Kat for Preschool Story Time with stories, early literacy activities and games. Ages 3 to 5. Registration required. Story time may be held on the West Lawn, weather permitting.

Do you love chess, want to improve, or just want to learn how to play? Join Kat and Daniel at the library every other Tuesday of the month to play others in friendly games of chess. Boards and pieces are provided by the library.

The Bitterroot Library Bookclub meets monthly to discuss the group's chosen book of the month. Currently we are meeting in person in the community room of the library.

2026 Book Titles to be decided in December 2025.

This hands-on art program lets kids explore all kinds of materials and techniques—from painting and sculpture to collage and more! We'll learn about different artists each week and create our own masterpieces along the way.

First come, first served. Grab bag. Kit includes all materials and instructions needed to make this fun kit at home!
