Event Details

Join us at the Bitterroot Public Library for a special presentation by Buck Hitswithastick, a descendant of the Dog Soldiers of the Bitterroot Salish. Dressed in full traditional regalia, Buck will share pre-European contact survival skills and explore the powerful legacy of the Dog Soldiers—respected scouts, protectors, and teachers. Through stories and demonstrations, kids will learn about self-sufficiency, confidence, and the belief that every person has unique value to the whole.
